Tim & Julie's Wedding

Well, I'm way behind on blogging. Facebook has taken over. . .

There was a very special day that took place on December 12, 2009. My brother married his love Julie. Even though it was a rainy day everything turned out beautiful. Julie's mom and nephew gave her away. However, her nephew made it clear that he was only letting Tim borrow her that he would take her back at any time. I must say a Aunt couldn't ask for more, it was precious and priceless. A reception followed at Inn of the Ozarks with beautiful decorations, yummy food, and a layered cake of all different flavors. My nephews who served as best guys gave a toast holding the sign they use to hold up at Tim's football games 9 years prior.

Here are some photos, not in the correct order. . .

No bride should have to wear dress shoes to the reception.

Glad to be rid of those dress shoes.

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Always has been. It's the one time a year that all my family gets together at my mom's house (it's the biggest house.) My Uncle Andy, wife Sheri from Florida and their grand kids Kaitlynn and Jackson from Alabama made it home this year.

Man! There are alot of us and just think there are several missing. . . .

Justin & Trevor

Justin and Trevor teamed up with their favorite aunt and grandma to give their mom a very special Christmas present this year. Robin my sister got (2) 8x10 framed photos from her boys. What more could a mom of teenagers want.
I just love these pictures of them.

Christian's First

During the 2009 hunting season Christian killed his first deer. Yes, he killed one before Scott who got his first deer the following weekend. We had to buy a freezer for all the meat. Just so you know ground deer can replace beef in just about everything.

Brittney

Several weeks ago I spent a rainy Sunday afternoon with my cousin taking her senior pictures. It's hard to believe that she is already old enough to be graduating. It wasn't very many years ago I was babysitting her. I had a blast hanging out with my cousins Tammie and daughter Brittney for the afternoon wading in grass, climbing over fences, asking strangers if we could use their barn, and going to the lake. I hard a hard time choosing which photos to post as there were so many good ones. Here are a few of my favorites.

Thanks guys for a great day. Brittney, I wish you the best as you finish this chapter in your life and look to start a new one.

Camping at Snowball

Add Image
Last weekend we camped with Mike, Teresa, Ryan and Casey at a very quite secluded area in Snowball. We had a blast relaxing with not very many people around. For those who don't know, my favorite way to camp is in the middle of no where.

I chased this leaf floating down the river for quite a little ways trying to get just the right photo. As you can tell by the next picture something swam into my picture. (click on it to enlarge it. look in the right corner.) Yes, I am 99% sure it was a snake. I yanked when I saw it so the picture is not so good. Scott isn't so sure it was a snake but it made me decide I had taken enough pictures and put my camera away.
Thanks guys for a nice weekend away. We hope to do it again sometime.
