Dwain & Amanda

Last Friday I took Dwain and Amanda's engagement photos. I thought they turned out really good. They were such a fun and happy couple. I hope they will enjoy them and I am looking forward to shooting their wedding photos in December.

I have taken photos at this location before but I have never had anyone brave enough to climb out on the rocks that I think look so neat.

Scott and I

My mom took this photo of Scott and I in Florida.

Robin & Family

These are some photos I took at the beach of my sister and family.

Justin and Trevor loved their new hats.

Alligator Farm

While we were in AL we went to a alligator refuge that gives nuisance alligators a home. This is the only farm that accepts these types of gators. One gator would pray on neighborhood dogs and cats sleeping on the porches of homes at night. It was very interesting to see the care givers feed them whole chickens feathers and all. I couldn't believe how loud their jaws were slamming together. I can not even remember how many thousands of pounds their jaws could crush.

Dad wanted everyone to know that he bites.

After the tour everyone who wanted to could hold one of the smaller gators. Trevor's face cracks me up. He didn't hold one.

33 Years

While we were on vacation Mom and Dad celebrated their anniversary. After much figuring they finally decided that it was 33 years not 34. Can you believe it. . . my dad remembered and wished my mom Happy Anniversary first.
They took walks on the beach together every morning which they really enjoyed.

Skim Boards

We all had fun trying the skim boards. The boys were pretty good at it. The rest of us nearly killed our selves trying.

I posed for my picture so I would look like I knew what I was doing.

Orange Beach

Last week Scott, Christian and I spent the week on vacation with my Mom, Dad, brother Tim, sister Robin and husband Josh and my nephews Justin and Trevor. We had a good time even though the beach was full of sea weed. I have been to this beach several times and have never saw the ocean so full of sea weed. We didn't hang out on the beach as much as Scott and I would have like to but the kids had a great time at the pool. Of course we also did some shopping and the kids all got new school shoes. The food was great as always. We survived a few belly aches, a severe case of swimmers ear, truck problems and my dad didn't feel too good the last day. Even with all those problems we had a good time. There is one thing I learned through all of this. Never take time with your family for granted and spend as much time with them as you can. It is hard to see family members grow and get older. .

Yes! This is sea weed along the beach.
