Emma

It was so nice to have someone pose for me. . .Emma needs to be a model when she grows up. I have been trying to work with my camera manually instead of letting the camera do all the work for me. I think this photo turned out good. Outside photos I am getting better at. Inside photos I still need alot of work. I got alot of pointers from Kim while we were at the lake. I have alot to learn so hopefully I can get together with her again sometime because I can't remember everything she told me. It is much easier to have someone explain it to you and show you instead of trying to read it out of a book. Thanks Kim for the help.

Skeeter

I have been trying to practice with my camera. Even Skeeter has started running away when I get my camera out. I now have lots of pictures of Breanna's hands over her face and of Skeeter's back side. Isn't he cute. I know he is a pain sometimes but we are attached to each other. He seams to think he owns me instead of the other way around.

Nephews

These are some good pictures of my sister's boys.
Breanna took this one of Justin and I. My Brother Tim and Trevor.

Wild Wedding

I took photos of Mike and Jene's wedding this weekend. Most weddings are very scheduled and everything has to be perfect. This wedding was a anything goes wedding. Most people were saying they were going to have a true Redneck Wedding. And they did. They made the most of the day at the river. I think Marshall was proud to be giving his sister away.

It's not every wedding where they toast with Wild Turkey and Coke.

The wedding party. The guys looked like men in black with their ties and sun glasses. How on earth did Stan get the bouquet?

Tiger Baseball

Christian is playing Tiger Baseball this summer. So far he has played several positions but none have been what he wants to play. . .catcher and pitcher. This is the first game of the season against Bruno which the Tigers won. We missed the Lead Hill game where he turned a double play.

After being a Goblin fan my whole life it is hard to yell GO TIGERS!!

Fish Cleaning

While we were at Cuz camp they had a fishing derby for kids where they stocked a cove with catfish. After it was over we went down and fished. We had a guy give us about 18 catfish which Scott told everyone he caught. I caught 12 more to add to that, Kristy 4, Sandy 2 maybe 3 (I can't remember I was too busy fishing) , D.J. 1, and Mike 1. I can't believe we caught that many. No one took any with them so we ended up bringing home about 40 fish to clean. Scott had never cleaned a fish before and I had only watched it done when I was a kid. We had my dad come over and show us how it was done.

Scott caught on fast. He looked like an old pro.

I tried my hand at it. I wasn't so good at it.

I did finally get a little bit of meat off the one that I work on for what seamed like forever.

Yuck what a mess!!!

We took some fish over to my mom's Tuesday night for a good 'ol fish fry. We had fried catfish, homemade hush puppies, and boiled cabbage. I think dad and grandpa really enjoyed it. After all the hard work catching and cleaning the fish, it tasted great.

CUZ CAMP

Scott had his 2nd annual CUZ camp. We all had a good time but missed Kim being there. I forgot to get a group photo of everyone. (She would have remembered.) I did get a few shots in. Allen and his homemade Wok. It's made from a ATV rim and the top is so heavy I can't even lift it.
He has quite a set up. A light, grill and a Wok all on the same gas bottle.

The boat ride was a blast.

Garrett got to drive us around with a little help from Scott.

The night wouldn't be complete without a sunset.

Memorial Day

Memorial Weekend started rough. Scott went to the lake on Thursday to get us a spot to find there were none available for the weekend. He ended up staying in one spot Thursday night and had to move by 3:00pm on Friday. I made it over Friday night after work and we ended up camping in a parking lot that night. (The true redneck way of camping I guess. . . .) He was told it was OK but when we came back after a late night boat ride we had a warning from the ranger. We finally got a spot Saturday morning about 8:30 when someone decided to leave. Once we were all set up we had a great time. My cousin Jess came and spent one night with us. We tried out the tube for the first time and laughed until we were about to die.

The kids came over after a family reunion with their mom's side of their family. These were taken with the smaller camera. I'm afraid of getting my big one wet so the zoom is not the greatest.

Christian was a little nervous at first but after he realized that Scott couldn't flip them he got a little brave.
