Aren't they sweet together. . . .

Daisy has claimed Scott as hers or he has claimed her as his. I'm not for sure which. She loves giving him kisses and biting his goatee. She has really missed him this weekend while he is away at deer camp.

Jess & I

I was honored to be in Jess's wedding. She has been my best friend/cousin forever. Thanks mom for remembering to take this special picture of us together. I had to include the photo of the wagon and team. The sun was going down and I just happened to catch it at the right time.

Jessica and Billy Sanders Shotgun Wedding

This was one crazy wedding. . . .if it could go wrong it did. We didn't get to have a rehearsal so it went a little crazy. For starters, one of the bride maids called the week before the wedding and said she couldn't make it. Jess had a friend that was happy to stand in. Then 2 days before the wedding 2 of the flower girls couldn't make it. Thank goodness for family. Amber and Libbie stepped in. Then the day of the wedding one of the other bride maids didn't show up. We just went on without her. The best man didn't make it either due to car trouble. Scott became best man about 30 minutes before the wedding. We were all a little unclear as to when we were suppose to walk down the isle so we made a mad dash to our spots as the waggon pulled by mules drove up with the bride, her father, step father and the shot gun man. I don't remember what all her step father said about the shot gun wedding. I was trying to get all the kids in their spots. I thought it was so neat having the shot gun man follow the bride and her father making sure that the groom didn't run. All in all it was a fun wedding and the couple enjoyed parting with their friends instead of going on a honeymoon.

Scott posed great for the wedding.

Before the Shotgun Wedding

There are so many photos I want to share from the Shotgun Wedding that I will have to make a couple of posts. It was a little crazy but it turned out really cute. This is the State for the wedding complete with a hay bales.
The punch was served in a metal trash can.

I Love the cake. It had twigs and birds on it.

In the end she decided to wear a dress that her Grandmother had made for her mom to wear when she married her dad. However, it was never worn until now some 30 years later.

The vail was hand made and under that she wore pig tails. She also wore combat boots to make the look complete.

Breonn her daughter did not want to wear her hanker chief so we had a small melt down.

Halloween. . . .a little late.

My office dressed as nurses for Halloween to promote Health Insurance. Our name tags read "Ask me about Health Insurance" We had a blast and the scrubs were so comfortable we tried to talk Vikki into letting us purchase different colors and wear them every day of the week. She didn't fall for the idea but we are going to wear the scrubs again because it did work. . . Pat sold a health policy. Me, Cathy, Vikki, Sherry, Annette, Pat, and Ashley
